Kathleen Yabroudy
Kathleen joined 7Rock Ventures in 2023. Previously, Kathleen served as the Executive Director for Renewed, a not-for-profit organization based in Nashville. Prior to that role, she worked for EY’s Audit practice in their McLean, VA office. Kathleen completed her Master of Accounting degree at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Washington and Lee University.
John Morphis
John joined 7Rock Ventures in 2022. Prior to 7Rock, John was a member of the development team at Upperline Health, a private equity-backed practice management company based in Nashville, TN. Previously, he worked at The Advisory Board Company / EAB in their Washington D.C. office. He completed his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare and finance at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Sewanee: University of the South.

Rock Morphis
Rock founded 7Rock Ventures in 2022. Prior to that, he co-founded Heritage Group in 1986 and currently serves as the Chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee. Over the past 30 years, Rock has served in numerous executive positions within Heritage Group’s portfolio of companies.
From 1996-2004, he served as Chairman and CEO of Heritage Health Systems, a managed care organization focused primarily on the Medicare Advantage market. The Company was acquired by a public company in 2004. From 1992-1995, Rock served as Chairman and CEO of Surgical Health Corporation, a company engaged in the development and management of outpatient surgery centers. The company was acquired by a public company in 1995.
Additionally, Rock has served on the boards of numerous business and civic organizations and as an advisor to many portfolio companies of Heritage Group. Rock is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and resides in Nashville. He and his wife have three children and three grandchildren.
